Teaching
As of the summer of 2019, I am not currently teaching any classes. However, here is a list of classes I have previously taught:
Rutgers University
Sensation and Perception Laboratory
Learning Goals
Students would learn about leading terms, concepts, theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, and historical trends in Sensation & Perception. Students would apply basic research methods in psychology, including research design, data analysis, and interpretation, to standard lab problems.
The core learning goals are:
- To provide an opportunity to experience perceptual phenomena first hand.
- To learn how to design, conduct, analyze, and write-up experiments.
- To learn how to use software tools to analyze and plot data.
Students would use critical thinking, skeptical inquiry, and, when possible, the scientific approach to ask, answer and understand questions related to behavior and mental processes. Students would apply psychological concepts and content to become engaged citizens.
